2-week (5 Weekends) ISTE Workshop on Software Development Techniques for Teachers of Engineering & Science

DOEACC Centre Srinagar/Jammu is to host 2-week (5 Weekends) ISTE workshop of IIT Bombay on "Software Development Techniques for Teachers of Engineering & Science Institutes" from 5th November to 4th December 2011 (5-6, 12-13, 19-20, 26-27, 3-4).
The workshop will benefit teaching faculty who teach Engineering / Science subjects and wish to use open source software tools for all their computational and teaching needs, thereby improving the quality of instruction and learning in their colleges/institutes.
The course will consist of the following modules Using Linux tools
- LaTeX
- Version control systems
- Basic Python
- Advanced Python
- Test driven development
