Release of CCC content in Kashmiri Language
|
Visit of Shri Sachin Pilot, Hon’ble Union Minister of State for Communications & Information Technology, Govt. of India to DOEACC Centre Srinagar/Jammu, Srinagar on 20th August 2011.
Hon’ble Union Minister of State visited DOEACC Centre Srinagar/Jammu on 20th August 2011. Sh. Pilot inaugurated Computer Forensic Lab. Funded by Department of Information Technology, Govt. of India at the cost of around 1.0 crore. During the inaugural address Sh. Pilot stated “the lab. Is part of an effort to strengthen the capacities of Law & Enforcement Agencies to tackle Cyber Crime and Online Fraud” A similar Computer Forensic Lab. is under completion in the Jammu Centre of DOEACC.
Later in the day, Sh. Pilot launched the e-Learning Content of Course on Computer Concepts developed in Kashmiri language by the Centre.
Jenab Aga Syed Ruhullah Mehdi, Hon’ble Minister of Information Technology and Science & Technology, Govt. of J&K was also present on the occasion. Shri Pilot congratulated DOEACC Society in providing IT literacy in no. of Indian Languages. He said, “With the launch of CCC in Kashmiri language, the level of IT literacy in the State will definitely be increased. Photos...”
Both the Hon’ble Ministers visited the stalls put up by the MCA students of this Centre for demonstrating their project work under DOEACC Exposition 2011. They were highly impressed with the quality of project work under taken by the students.
